The campsite is a family friendly site with good shelter just a few hundred meters from the Limfjord. At the site you will find two service buildings as well as a laundromat, kitchen, common room with a TV and pool table, a new swimming pool that is heated by solar power, a large playground, bouncy cushion, family restrooms and much more. You can rent cabins and caravans on either a daily or weekly basis.
The cycling route "Ertebølleruten" number 36, which is a part of the national route number 12, passes right by the campsite along the Limfjord. Via cycling route number 118 through Myrhøj and Uhrehøj Plantation you can reach Farsø.
In the area you also find marked hiking trails where you can see animals and birds.
The beach in Ertebølle has a blu flag and two bathing jetties. The water is up to 4-6 meters deep and ideal for driving and windsurfing.
In the large chiffs there are ample opportunities to find fossils. In the nature you find many examples of how the mighty forces during the Ice Age shaped the scenery.
You can gp fishing in both Trend Å (Stream) and the Limfjord - do not forget to buy a fishing license first!
The historic Ertebølle has its origin in the "Ertebølle Culture". Even today you can find items from the Stone Age as well as participate in activities at the Stone Age Centre.
