Only 300 metres from the Ancient Road Hærvejen you find Abildgaard with a charming shelter and campfire.

The family at Abildgaard always keeps the shelter open.

Overnight stay in the shelter and use of the facilities costs 20 DKK per person (over 13 years) per night. Pay cash or MobilePay upon arrival.

The shelter is located at the back of the garden. Beside the shelter, you find a table with a bench and a fireplace with a large grate. Firewood might be provided for free.

Warm outdoor showers are available. Notice that the toilet in the farmhouse is not available.

You have access to water by the garage, and the family will be there for you in case of any questions or need for help.

The family has both hen and deer walking freely around the farm, and you can watch them being fed now and then.

The shelter is always open, and booking in advance is not necessary.

You can also go exploring Glasgården - Glass Art that is located at Abildgård as well.
